While creating their own pizzas, the kids will also get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in the kitchen at GattiTown. The kids will learn the three S’s to a successful kitchen – safety, sanitation and size.

Safety: Learn how to keep yourself and others safe while working in a kitchen. Learn everything from proper attire to proper techniques.

Sanitation: Learn why a clean kitchen is so important to our health. Also learn about the steps GattiTown takes to ensure that the food is prepared and served properly.

Size: Learn why measurements are a key ingredient to the perfect pizza.

In this program, the kids will discover and develop practical life skills for a safe kitchen. This is a hands-on approach that will allow them to gain a better understanding of safety and sanitation.

Workshops are 1.5 hours and may be scheduled:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays	4:00 - 5:30 p.m. or 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays	9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

*No minimum on M/W/F. 15 minimum on Saturdays. 15 minimum can be made by combining troops.

Cost: $15 per child which includes:

• Girl Scouts Activity Patch

We welcome all homeschoolers in the North Texas area! Workshop is appropriate for students ages 6-12. Minimum of 8 students required.

Homeschool workshops last 1 hour and may be scheduled Monday – Friday at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m.

Cost: $12 per child includes:
